| Minnepolis Local 82 Member Tom Clark Elected as MPFF Secretary/Treasurer |
Minneapolis Local 82 member Tom Clark was elected as MPFF Secretary/Treasurer at the 2013 MPFF Convention held in Duluth, Minnesota on May 6 and 7, 2013. Tom Clark is the current Treasurer of Mineapolis Fire Fighters Local 82 and ran unopposed and will assume the duties on June 1, 2013.

| Outgoing MPFF Board Member Matt Ashmore Honored |
MPFF At-Large Board Member Matt Ashmore was honored for his service at the 2013 MPFF State Convention Held in Duluth, Minnesota on May 6 and 7, 2013. Matt served as the Northern District At-Large Board Member from 2005-2013 and did not seek re-election for the seat he had held for the past 7 years.

| Tom Marshal Retired Duluth Local 101 Member Honored |
The Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters honored retired Duluth Local 101 member Tom Marshal at the 2013 MPFF State Convention for his dedicated service to the MPFF membership. Tom served as the Northern District Vice-President from 1997-2004 and served on the Minnesota Public Employees Retirement Association Board of Trustees from 2003 until 2012.

| First Annual Wisconsin/Minnesota Burn Foundation Golf Outing |
The First Annual IAFF/ Wisconsin/Minnesota Burn Foundation Golf Outing will be played at Fox Hollow Golf Course in LaCrosse Wisconsin on August 13, 2013.
The format will be 4 person scramble with a 10:00 am shot-gun start. Cost will be $75.00 per player, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart and a meal following golf.

Firefighters For Healing is a local non-profit charity, our mission is to raise money for local burn units and children that are burned in fires. Last year we donated $10,000 dollars to the HCMC Burn Unit. This summer we are creating a new event to exceed that donation and need your help.
